WHAT'S THE ROLE We’re looking for an experienced game designer to join our team to design and improve game features and implement and tune a variety of game content. You’ll collaborate with other team members across a range of disciplines to elevate the quality of our games. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Designing complex game features and improve existing designs Implementing and refining game content using in-house tools Conducting in-depth product analysis to ensure our games are best-in-class Writing clear, concise documentation using a range of appropriate software Ensuring games systems are balanced using analytical methods and incorporating game telemetry Driving quality using playtests, player feedback, QA reporting, and your own insights. WHAT YOU'LL BRING Deep game knowledge across a range of genres, especially management and simulation games Proven experience in game design, plus content or level design experience Strong understanding of player psychology and gamer motivations Knowledge of a variety of game design theories and methods Excellent communications skills; ability to present your ideas clearly in written form, using visual aids where appropriate Good presentation skills, and experience in presenting your ideas to a range of team members Solid skills in game tuning and balancing Game design experience working as part of a commercial development team.
