The Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging Customer Experience (MSP CX) team supports internal fulfillment and transportation network customers relying on advanced robotics technology. In this role, you will collaborate with product development and reliability, maintenance, and engineering teams to optimize robotics system performance. Your responsibilities include being the link between technicians and engineers, launching new systems, developing preventive maintenance procedures, ensuring spare parts availability, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting, sharing best practices, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
You will develop standard operating procedures, performance metrics, and feedback mechanisms to support scaling efforts. You will work with technical support and regional managers to ensure safety, reliability, and performance of robotics technology. The role requires independence, adaptability, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
We are flexible regarding location (Poland, France, Germany).
Key job responsibilities
1. Provide on-site support for new product implementations, upgrades, hardware audits, and troubleshooting.
2. Collaborate with product development, manufacturing, and reliability teams to enhance robotics performance.
3. Identify, analyze, and resolve mechanical and system issues.
4. Design electro-mechanical tools and fixtures for deployed and new products.
5. Create proactive monitoring tools for safety, reliability, and performance.
6. Develop diagnostic tools to reduce troubleshooting time and downtime.
7. Establish escalation processes for hardware and system issues.
8. Implement preventative maintenance procedures and training.
9. Conduct on-site training for RME teams.
10. Manage spare parts systems and processes.
11. Perform safety, ergonomic, and risk assessments.
12. Generate reports on product safety, reliability, and performance.
13. Provide feedback to development and support teams.
14. Up to 75% travel required.
Minimum requirements
* BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
* 3+ years supporting mechatronic or robotic systems.
* Experience with statistical analysis, data visualization, and project management.
* Proven problem-solving skills (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, FMEA).
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Additional preferred skills
* Experience with big data.
* Familiarity with PLC programming.
* Experience with CAD & FEA tools, industry trends, and design for supportability.
* Experience in implementing scalable procedures and metrics.
* Experience managing hardware projects.
