History Teacher
Cullompton Area | Through Teaching Personnel
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a secondary school in the Cullompton Area to recruit a History Teacher to join their Humanities department.
This opportunity is suitable for both Early Careers Teacher (ECTs) and experienced History teachers, with the potential for long-term or permanent opportunities for the right candidate.
The Role
Deliver engaging and thought-provoking History lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
Plan and assess work in line with the national curriculum
Encourage critical thinking, debate, and analytical skills
Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
Contribute to the wider Humanities department where required

The Ideal Candidate
Qualified History Teacher (QTS/QTLS) or ECT
Strong subject knowledge and passion for History
Ability to inspire and motivate pupils of all abilities
Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
Professional, reliable, and committed approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
