We are seeking an Application Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that integrate with our IBMS and Fire Alarm Systems. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers and technical support, to ensure the smooth implementation and continuous improvement of our systems. You will also be involved in troubleshooting, testing, and ensuring that applications meet performance and security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Software Development & Maintenance:

* Develop, test, and maintain applications for IBMS and Fire Alarm systems, ensuring they meet functional and performance requirements.
* Work with system engineers to integrate software solutions with existing hardware and system components.
* Optimize applications for better efficiency, scalability, and security.

Troubleshooting & Debugging:

* Identify and resolve software issues or bugs in a timely manner.
* Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve integration problems.

System Integration:

* Ensure seamless integration of software applications with IBMS and Fire Alarm system hardware.
* Support system implementation, upgrades, and system migrations.

Documentation & Reporting:

* Prepare technical documentation for all developed software applications.
* Maintain detailed records of the development and troubleshooting process.

Collaboration & Communication:

* Work closely with hardware engineers, project managers, and system architects to ensure that software meets all user needs.
* Participate in meetings and provide technical input for system enhancements and improvements.

Compliance & Security:

* Ensure all developed applications comply with industry standards and regulations (such as safety protocols for fire alarm systems and building management).
* Implement security best practices in software development to safeguard system data and functionality.

Skills & Qualifications:

Education:

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

* Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, or others relevant to IBMS/FAS.
* Knowledge of database management and SQL.
* Experience with system integration and API development.
* Familiarity with IBMS (Integrated Building Management Systems) and Fire Alarm Systems is a plus.
* Knowledge of networking protocols and industrial automation.

Experience:

* Previous experience working with IBMS, fire alarm systems, or similar building automation systems.
* 2+ years of experience in software development and application programming.

Soft Skills:

* Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks efficiently.
