About the role
Vision for Education is working with a Further Education provider in the East Riding to recruit a dedicated and inspiring Business Studies Teacher. This is a permanent role with both full-time and part-time hours available.
Salary: £30,000 - £33000 per annum (depending on experience)
Location: East Riding (commutable from York, Hull, Beverley, Driffield)
Contract: Permanent – full or part time available
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective teaching to learners on BTEC Level 3 Business courses, helping students prepare for higher education or future employment. Depending on your experience, you may also act as a Group Tutor, supporting learners’ academic progress and personal development. The successful candidate may work on a period of supply via Vision For Education before transitioning onto contract with the college.
About You
We are looking for a teacher or industry professional with strong subject knowledge and a passion for developing the next generation of business leaders. Expertise in areas such as Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, or Enterprise would be an advantage.
You may already be:
1. Teaching Business in a college, sixth form, or secondary school
2. Delivering Business, Economics, or related subjects at GCSE, A Level or BTEC
3. Working with apprentices or adult learners in a training environment
4. An experienced professional from a business or commercial background, ready to bring your industry expertise into education

Requirements
5. Recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
6. Degree-level qualification (or equivalent professional experience) in Business or related subject
7. Strong classroom practice with the ability to engage and motivate learners
8. Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain)
9. Two professional references to cover the last two years
