As we grow our UK presence, we’re seeking a skilled Account Manager to join our Climate & Industrials practice—supporting a portfolio of clients across clean energy, sustainability, environmental innovation, mobility, and climate tech.
The Account Manager will play a key role in driving day-to-day client programmes, delivering high-quality media and content work, and supporting strategic programme development. This is a fantastic opportunity for a UK-based PR professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced agency environment and wants to work with clients tackling the world’s most pressing climate and sustainability challenges.
Primary Responsibilities
Account Strategy and Management:
* Support the development of communications strategies and integrated programme plans.
* Lead brainstorms and contribute creative ideas to elevate client campaigns.
* Manage project timelines and workflows to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.
* Coordinate seamlessly with PR, digital marketing, creative, web, and marketing automation teams.
* Monitor budgets, support resourcing discussions, and help ensure programme efficiency.
Client Leadership
* Serve as a primary point of contact on day-to-day client matters.
* Lead status calls, planning discussions, and client check-ins.
* Ensure accurate maintenance of client dashboards, reports, and account documentation.
Media and Analyst Relations:
* Develop and execute media strategies across proactive and reactive opportunities.
* Conduct media outreach across phone, email, and social platforms; consistently secure top-tier and trade coverage.
* Build and strengthen relationships with key journalists across regional, national, trade, and broadcast outlets.
* Review and refine pitches, and help set media KPIs for the wider account team.
Digital Communications & Content:
* Collaborate with Antenna’s digital specialists to integrate digital marketing into broader communications plans.
* Recommend and help execute campaigns across email, social media, SEO, and paid promotion.
* Draft and edit digital content, including email sequences, social posts, and website copy.
* Interpret digital campaign performance data and provide insights and recommendations.
Messaging and Editorial Development:
* Support the development of strategic messaging frameworks that inform all content.
* Draft and edit a range of content, including press releases, bylines, case studies, newsletters, web copy, award entries, presentations, and thought leadership.
* Work closely with creative and digital teams to produce visual content such as infographics and marketing collateral.
Qualifications And Experience
* 3-5 years’ experience in public relations, communications or integrated marketing, ideally within an agency environment.
* Experience working with B2B mobility, climate, energy, sustainability, or technology clients.
* Strong interest in smart mobility, clean energy, climate technologies, environmental innovation, or related sectors.
* Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate client objectives into communications programmes.
* Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
* Confident, organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple programmes simultaneously.
* Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively with global teams.
Salary: £40,000–£55,000 per annum, depending on experience
