Digital Innovation and Projects Officer - Ebley Mill - StroudReference: REQ0223Description: Are you enthusiastic about driving digital transformation and improving services?Stroud District Council is seeking a Digital Innovation and Projects Officer to lead on exciting initiatives that shape the future of our planning services.About the RoleAs part of our Development Management team, you will:Lead the Council’s engagement in the Digital Planning innovation programme, researching advancements and presenting recommendations to senior managers.Coordinate and deliver business improvement projects, collaborating with ICT, service teams, and external partners.Develop detailed project plans, monitor progress, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.Drive innovation through process mapping, procedure documentation, and improved performance reporting.This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact by introducing smarter, more efficient ways of working that benefit both the Council and the community.What We are Looking ForWe are looking for a forward-thinking professional with strong digital skills and a passion for innovation with:A good understanding of Microsoft Office 365, Power BI, and SharePoint, alongside a solid grasp of project management tools and methodologies.Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders is key to this role.A talent for prioritising tasks, meeting deadlines, and producing accurate, high-quality documentation.Hold a degree in Business Administration or a similar field or have equivalent workplace experience.If you thrive on problem-solving and enjoy finding creative solutions, this role is for you.
