Senior Embedded Design Engineer
Hours: 40 hrs per week. Hours are flexible within office hours.

As an Embedded Design Engineer, you will utilize your embedded software and electronics experience to develop electronic products for applications like medical devices, wearables, and IoT. You will work in a small multidisciplinary team to:
* Define and develop new products from customer requirements
* Write requirements and system design documentation
* Collaborate to deliver innovative solutions
* Develop embedded software in C / C++
* Work on bare-metal, RTOS, and embedded Linux environments
* Board bring-up and testing
* Assist with integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting with customers
* Understand compliance and standards for electronic products
This role involves occasional client meetings and technical report writing, requiring professional communication skills.
Required Skills and Experience
* 3+ years in embedded software and electronics design
* Degree in Embedded Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or apprenticeship)
* Proficiency in Embedded C / C++
* Electronic Design skills
* Understanding of real-time systems
* Experience with RTOS or Embedded Linux
* Hardware/software debugging skills (JTAG, oscilloscopes, serial comms)
* Proficient with Altium or similar tools
* Professional English communication skills
Desired Skills and Experience
* Experience with WIFI, Bluetooth, Zigbee
* Python programming
* Architecting software and electronic designs
* Hybrid working (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)
