About the Role:
Our client, a leading provider in the construction and heavy equipment industry, is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Fitter to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, refurbishment, and servicing. Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct service, maintenance, and repair work on volumetric concrete mixers.
2. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
3. Maintain technical expertise and stay updated on the latest advancements in mixer systems.
4. Perform occasional on-site repairs at customer locations, including travel when required.
5. Work flexible hours, including occasional out-of-hours work, as needed.
6. Accurately document all work performed, including parts used and services completed.
7. Assist in failure analysis to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
8. Ensure all work is carried out to the highest quality and safety standards.
