Barnardo's Highland Services is looking for a team of dedicated andcompassionate support workers to join our Springboard Outreach Service, supporting care leavers across theHighland area. This role offers a unique opportunity to walk alongside young people as they transition intoadulthood, providing holistic, tailored support in their own homes and communities.

Springboard is commissioned by Highland Council and forms part of a widerBarnardo's Highland service offer. The service is grounded in the principles of The Promise, ensuring thatevery young person has their voice heard and their needs met in a way that is flexible, relationship-based, andtrauma-informed.

The team will be based from Inverness (Rail House, Station Square) however willhave to travel to and from allocated areas to meet and support young people.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver one-to-one outreach support to care-experienced young people acrossHighland
* Work flexibly and creatively to meet young people where they are—emotionally,Practically and geographically.
* Collaborate closely with Pathways Coordinators to support young peoplein achieving the goals set out in their Pathways Plans.
* Empower young people to develop independentliving skills, build resilience, and access opportunities in their communities
* Maintain accuraterecords, contribute to monitoring outcomes, and work in line with
* Barnardo's values and safeguardingstandards.

What We're Looking For:

* Experience working with children, young people, or care-experiencedindividuals.
* A strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and the ability to buildtrusting, professional relationships
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work bothindependently and as part of a wider multidisciplinary team.
* Flexibility to work evenings and weekends,based on the needs of young people, this will form part of four week rota.
* A full driving licence andaccess to a vehicle for travel - Expenses are reimbursed.

Whilst the full pay band and salary range is advertised, our approach to starting salaries is to appoint between theminimum to mid-point of the pay band – this ensures that pay steps are available to reward our colleaguesannually based on their contribution to excellence and alignment to our values and behaviours.
