Key Responsibilities Prepare operating theatres and surgical equipment for ophthalmic procedures. Assist surgeons during operations, maintaining sterile technique, and ensuring patient safety. Daily management of theatre team personnel. Monitor and support patients throughout the intraoperative phase.
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care. Participate in audits, training, and continuous professional development. To attend monthly operations committee meetings, as and when required.
May be required to assist with return to theatre cases out of hours.
