Job Title: 1st Line IT Support Technician Location: Hull I'm currently working on behalf of a client in Hull who is looking to recruit a proactive and enthusiastic 1st Line IT Support Technician to join their internal IT department. The Role: This is a fully office-based role, supporting internal users across the business. As the first point of contact, you'll play a vital role in resolving day-to-day IT issues and ensuring seamless service delivery. Key Responsibilities: Be the first point of contact for IT queries via phone, email, and live chat Accurately log and track issues using the company's central service desk system Provide effective 1st line support for software, hardware, and internal systems Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft Windows, Apple macOS, and Microsoft Office Assist with installation, maintenance, and repairs of IT hardware and software Support end-users with Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Active Directory Collaborate with the wider IT team to escalate and resolve more complex issues Deliver excellent customer service with a helpful and professional approach Key Skills & Experience Required: Experience providing 1st line IT support in a commercial environment Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows, macOS, and Microsoft Office Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online Familiarity with Active Directory administration Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn Want to know more about the role?
