Are you a highly motivated and experienced practitioner with a creative flair for working with socially excluded families? Can you work collaboratively with colleagues and practitioners across the partnership? Can you plan and deliver a range of evidence based interventions with parents and carers? Could you support the development of family focused work that interfaces with young people’s drug or alcohol treatment?

Responsibilities
* Be a competent professional who is committed to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children, young people and/or vulnerable adults at all times.
* Work with parents and carers to meet their children’s needs, enabling them to develop ways of handling relationships and behaviour that contribute to everyday life with children and young people.
* Take a whole family approach to support families to build resiliency.
* Plan and deliver evidence-based interventions with parents and carers.
* Develop family focused work that interfaces with young people’s drug or alcohol treatment.
Qualifications & requirements
* Hold a level 3/4 qualification in relation to teaching/training or working with parents.
* Previous training and an accreditation to deliver an evidenced-based parenting programme would be very advantageous.
Please note that this is a Fixed Term position for up to 12 months.
