Salary £25,185 - £25,989 per annum | Permanent, Part Time, 20 hours per week | Pro Rata | 33% increment at weekends, 50% increment for Bank Hols & Sleep in allowance. International sponsorship – this role is not open to international sponsorship.
About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated, flexible people who would enjoy supporting adults with disabilities to live the lives they want. The Service supports people with learning disabilities in their own homes 24 hours a day and involves sleep‑in duties and weekend work.
The support worker role involves all aspects of daily support, including:
* Supporting people to access activities and experiences in their local community, such as swimming, walking, bowling, dancing, shopping, etc.
* Providing personal care and assistance with day‑to‑day needs, ensuring dignity and respect.
* Assisting with managing finance, administering medication and ensuring health and positive outcomes.
* Working in accordance with relevant national legislation and service‑specific policies and practice guidelines at all times.
Qualifications
* Experience working with adults who have a learning disability is desirable but not essential.
* Applicants who do not hold NVQ Level 3 at the time of appointment must complete a QCF Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care within the first 2 years of employment. This training will be funded by the Service.
* This position is part time; the salary quoted is full‑time equivalent and will be paid on a pro‑rata basis.
