The Role As Head Chef, youll lead a motivated team, create a seasonal and inclusive menu, and showcase local produce.
Youll have hands-on responsibility for maintaining high standards, managing costs and inspiring the team.
Key Responsibilities Develop and update a creative, seasonal menu Plan daily and weekly specials Lead, train and motivate the kitchen team Maintain efficient kitchen procedures Ensure compliance with HACCP, food hygiene and health & safety Manage food costs and contribute to profit targets Requirements Strong culinary skills and attention to detail Proven kitchen leadership in a busy environment Supportive, inspiring management style Up-to-date knowledge of food safety (Level 3 Food Safety Award preferred) Excellent communication and teamwork skills Benefits Competitive salary with regular reviews Staff discounts, events and referral schemes Increasing annual leave with service Life assurance and group income protection for permanent employees (after qualifying period) Hours Full-time, 5 or 4 days out of 7, including weekends and bank holidays, with potential for increased flexibility as the team grows.
