We are looking for a reliable Cover Supervisor with teaching experience to join our team in March. The ideal candidate will have experience in a classroom setting and be comfortable managing groups of students in the absence of their regular teacher. Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and manage classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring a positive and productive environment.
2. Deliver pre-prepared lessons and activities to students, ensuring they are engaged and on task.
3. Manage student behaviour effectively and ensure adherence to school policies.
4. Support students’ learning and personal development, providing assistance where necessary.
5. Liaise with teaching staff to ensure smooth transitions and communication between lessons.
Requirements:
6. Experience in a classroom setting, with teaching or cover supervision experience.
7. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
8. Ability to adapt quickly and be flexible when covering a range of subjects.
9. Good communication skills and the ability to engage with students of varying abilities.
10. A teaching qualification (e.g., QTS) is desirable but not essential.
