We're supporting a growing civil engineering contractor with a strong regional presence who are looking to add an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to their commercial team near Ipswich.
This is a great opportunity to gain hands‑on experience on live infrastructure and groundworks projects while working alongside experienced Senior QSs.
The Role
* Assist with cost reporting, valuations and change management
* Support subcontract procurement and package management
* Help with measurement, take‑offs and forecasting
* Learn NEC contract administration in a live project environment
About You
* 1-3 years' experience in a QS/AQS role or strong placement year background
* Exposure to civil engineering or groundworks projects
* Good commercial awareness and attention to detail
* Studying towards or qualified with a QS / Construction‑related degree or HND
