A highly supportive and well-established PRU in Leicester is looking for an experienced and confident Teaching Assistant to join their team full time from January. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about making a real difference for pupils with additional behavioural and SEMH needs.
About the Role:
Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm
Supporting primary-aged pupils within a specialist PRU setting
Working closely with children who require strong boundaries, emotional regulation support, and tailored behavioural strategies
Collaborating with teaching staff to create a safe, structured and engaging learning environment
What We're Looking For:
Strong behaviour management skills
A confident understanding of SEMH and trauma-informed support
Previous PRU, alternative provision or behaviour support experience - this is essential
A calm, resilient and proactive attitude
Someone ready to be hands-on and fully involved
Pay: Dependant upon experience
