The Role requires the candidate to:
* Develop and implement electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards
* Manage the preparation of project plans, risk assessments and health and safety documentation
* Develop and manage project budgets, including cost control and forecasting
* Liaise with clients, contractors and stakeholders to ensure effective project management
* Plan and monitor project resources, including labour, materials and equipment
* Lead and mentor project teams
* Identify and analyse any project issues and develop solutions to ensure project success
* Organise and lead electrical projects from concept to completion
* Develop project plans and ensure timely completion of jobs
* Manage budgets, resources and personnel to ensure projects are completed within time and budget constraints
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
* Monitor progress and provide regular updates
* Report project progress to senior management
Essential Criteria:
* ECS 18th Edition Gold Card
* Full UK Clean Driving licence
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface with clients, suppliers and colleagues
* Strong background in Commercial/ Industrial Electrical Installation and Electrical Control Systems
* Ability to understand electrical specifications, schematics, drawings, block cable diagrams, BoQ’s, BoM’s etc
* Good understanding of electrical standards
* Ability to complete Tender submissions and complete PQQ’s to a high standard
* High attention to detail and strong business acumen’s to understanding project costs
* Ability to self-manage & prioritise to meet deadlines
* Strong commercial & industrial background
* Previous on site experience as an electrician
* Ability to write RAMS
