Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accounts and payroll administrator to join us. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. This position requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in various payroll and accounting software.
Duties
* Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
* Perform data entry tasks related to payroll adjustments, new hires, terminations, and changes in employee status.
* Utilise accounting software such as SAGE for payroll processing and reporting.
* Manage accounts payable functions related to payroll expenses.
* Conduct regular audits of payroll data to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
* Prepare payroll reports for management analysis, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role, with a strong understanding of payroll procedures and regulations.
* Proficiency in SAGE or similar accounting software is essential.
* Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Excellent analytical skills to interpret complex data sets effectively.
* Familiarity with accounts payable processes is advantageous.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with employees at all levels.
* Record all transactions accurately and reconcile accounts.
* Prepare balance sheets, income statements and other reports.
* Perform cost and general ledger analysis.

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
