Join to apply for the Paramedic - Shepperton role at Ambulnz Community Partners. The position is a bank/PAYE role based in Shepperton, offering a competitive salary and a focus on work life balance, training and development.
Responsibilities
* Provide lifesaving treatment and stabilise patients preparing them for transport.
* Drive all types of approved Ambulance Service vehicles under normal and emergency (blue light) conditions in accordance with road traffic law.
* Respond to operational requirements in a safe and efficient way.
* Autonomous working as a solo medic providing medical attention to production crews and cast.
* Remote location working.
Role Requirements
* Hold a UK manual driving licence for at least 1 year driving experience and no more than 6 points on your licence.
* Hold a Paramedic qualification and be registered with the HCPC.
* Post NQP 2 Phase and be able to provide portfolio for review by the training and development department.
* Physical fitness is important; sometimes required to reach inaccessible patients in a hurry (lots of stairs), manual handling and CPR.
* Have a warm and caring personality with the ability to connect with people.
* Have an adaptable and flexible work ethic – media productions often work 7 days a week including a mixture of shift times.
* Quality references covering the last three years of employment history and a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
