Venari Finance are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Accountant to join our dynamic client. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial management and accounting principles, with proficiency in various accounting software. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards. .
Duties
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with established accounting principles.
Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices.
Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or PeopleSoft for financial record-keeping and reporting.
Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy.
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Mentor junior accountants and provide guidance on best practices in financial accounting.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that drive business performance.
Qualifications
Proven experience in financial accounting or a related field, with a strong understanding of financial management principles.
Qualified/Qualified by experience
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
