ServiceNow Technical Lead - National Salary up to £65,000. London Salary up to £72,000.
We have recently implemented the HRSD module in ServiceNow across our global business. The solution acts as a people hub for our employees to engage with our people function, with a focus on self-service.
We are now looking for an experienced ServiceNow technical lead to provide consultancy to the people function, develop, design, and own the technical solutions on the platform.
A bit about the job:
The role will involve working closely with stakeholders across the People function, in addition to IT and other functional areas to support the people function strategy as well as influencing new and improving existing experiences to help better utilise the system for all users.
* Provide subject matter expertise on ServiceNow with a drive to maximise the solution, providing consultancy on its capabilities and limitations.
* Lead systems improvements, using business analysis / requirements to inform technical design and testing.
* Hands-on development, management, and deployment experience with ServiceNow
* Keep up to date on new functionalities and proactively identify enhancements to current ways of working.
* Support the development of others in the team and the people function, fostering a collaborative and high performing team with agility in their knowledge and skills to support people technologies.
* Own the development of community of champions and super users among process owners within the business,
* Lead on major ServiceNow updates along with internal releases, driving comprehensive testing and impact analysis.
In summary you will be:
* Supporting markets globally in change activities and potential complex run issues.
* Configuration and customization of solutions in ServiceNow that do not prevent future upgrades, specifically in the HRSD module.
* Working closely with stakeholders to analyse business needs and requirements.
* Testing end to end processes to meet internal governance practices.
* Aware of IT change practices and employee data protection principles.
Aviva operates a “smart working” policy meaning that we spend approximately half of our time working in an office, and this role is based in Norwich, York, or London.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
* Extensive experience with ServiceNow certification required (at least Admin & Application Developer).
* Solid knowledge of workflows, reporting, and dashboards.
* Service Portal (HTML, CSS, AngularJS, SASS, Bootstrap), data exchange formats like JSON, XML & ServiceNow Application Development (Scoped Applications). Good knowledge on adding multiple pages and adding widgets on portal in ServiceNow.
* 3rd Party Integrations Development (REST, SOAP, MID Servers.
* Knowledge on building Catalogs, variable sets, Client scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and ACL.

* National Salary up to £65,000. London Salary up to £72,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
