I am recruiting for a Unix Administrator to work 2-3 days in Dunstable, remaining time remote. This role falls inside IR35 so you will need to work through an umbrella company for the duration of the contract.
Qualifications
* Strong experience deploying, configuring, and maintaining Unix/Linux systems (RedHat, Oracle Linux, Solaris).
* SKilled in the administration of virtualisation platforms including VMware and Oracle VM (OLVM).
* Experience managing physical servers – DELL and Oracle.
Responsibilities
* Monitor system performance and availability, escalating issues as needed.
* Participate in patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management tasks.
* Document system configurations, procedures, and changes.
* Be involved with automation efforts using scripting and tools like Ansible.
