The Bridge Hotel is located in a tranquil country setting in the heart of Yorkshire, yet it is only five minutes drive from the A1 and the motorway network and near to Wetherby race course.
Leeds/Bradford is just 8 miles away and York, Knaresborough and Harrogate are all within a short drive from The Bridge, one of the finest hotels in West Yorkshire. Well-known attractions such as Newby Hall, Fountains Abbey, Lightwater Valley, and the North Yorkshire Dales are easily accessible from the hotel.
The Bridge Hotel & Spa is a unique venue which has recently undergone a refurbishment programme with 37 bedrooms, wonderful conference & banqueting facilities and a very successful non-residential restaurant trade as well as a newly opened spa. Ideally placed in Wetherby we are located close to the historic city of York, the spa town of Harrogate and the commercial centre of Leeds.
We require an enthusiastic and motivated full-time and part-time team members to join our dedicated & friendly team at this highly regarded 4 star hotel and spa in the heart of Yorkshire.
This role is a hands-on housekeeping role – working in a team of up to 5 staff on shift - and contributing towards the daily hotel upkeep operations.
WEEKENDS SHIFTS ARE REQUIRED AS APART OF THIS ROLE.
Main duties are to clean the hotel rooms and surrounding areas to a high standard. This will include making beds, cleaning bathrooms, carrying laundry and trays up and down stairs and also stocking room essentials, assisting guests with any requests. This also includes the cleaning of hotel public areas.
We have a fantastic workforce in housekeeping. The successful housekeeping team member will communicate effectively and build on team spirit.
Hours are usually daytime shifts from 8am until 3.30pm approx
The ideal candidate should be fully flexible with the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team. All training will be given where needed.
TRANSPORTATION - NEED TO HAVE ACCESS TO A CAR TO DRIVE TO & FROM WORK OR BE ABLE TO GET A LIFT.
