About the Role:
A leading Tier 1 contractor is seeking an Environmental Advisor to support construction and infrastructure projects. This regional role involves working closely with project teams from early design stages through to delivery, ensuring compliance, promoting environmental best practices, and driving continuous improvement across sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support environmental planning during the preconstruction phase
* Prepare project-specific documentation such as CEMPs and management plans for water, nuisance, and pollution control
* Apply for environmental permits and liaise with regulatory bodies as required
* Monitor environmental performance on-site and identify areas for improvement
* Assist site teams in implementing control measures for air, noise, water, and waste
* Conduct site visits, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance with legislation and standards
* Lead or support investigations into environmental incidents and share lessons learned
* Engage with subcontractors and suppliers to promote environmental standards
* Deliver training sessions and support awareness campaigns
* Contribute to the development of environmental materials, alerts, and regulatory updates
About You:
* At least 1 year of experience in an environmental role, ideally within construction or infrastructure
* Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related discipline is preferred
