Our client is a market leading manufacturer of products and solutions utilised within the construction industry.
With plans for multi million pound investment and a new state of the art manufacturing facility, we are seeking an experienced Head of Electrical or Lead Electrical Engineer to drive the business forward, taking manufacturing operations to the next level for production, planning, quality, H & S and overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities of Electrical Engineer
* Lead a small engineering team of around 10-15 members
* Manage and motivate your team to effectively problem solve and develop their careers, providing appropriate leadership to drive the site and manufacturing lines forward
* Implement and manage HSEQ standards and policies
* Apply heavy industrial electrical engineering expertise
* Support the transition to a new state-of-the-art manufacturing environment
* Identify opportunities to automate manufacturing processes further
* Monitor electrical tasks through spot checks and provide relevant feedback
Essential Qualifications for Electrical Engineer
* Previous experience in a senior electrical role, such as EC&I Engineer, Automation Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or Head of Electrical Engineering
* 18th Edition and current BS7671 regulations, with knowledge of PLCs and invertors
* Leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build, motivate, develop, and improve teams
* Working knowledge of IEC 61508/61511 standards
* Complex EX14 experience or working knowledge, with proven Atex Responsible Person requirements
* The role reports to the Site Operations Manager and offers significant influence and autonomy, with opportunities for personal and career development
* Electrical maintenance experience, including heavy industry plant knowledge
