A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Garment Technologist to work across ladies fashion including denim, swimwear, knitwear, outerwear and lounge wear. You will be a great team player, highly dedicated with a passion for all things fashion and a good communicator.
The role:
* Ensuring that garments are being produced to the required quality standard and that manufacturing is measured within tolerance.
* Discussing new designs with the design department and Merchandisers and helping to decide on the best way to manufacture them.
* Working out size specifications and planning how new garments will be made up by producing initial and graded size charts.
* Monitoring the production of sample garments and initiating any changes to the designs to fit manufacturing requirements.
* Fit meetings with customers
* Grading, Pattern review & Fitting, Lab reports, compliance and Shipment samples approval
The Successful Candidate will:
* Experience of working in Garment Technology
* Enthusiasm and determination, with a passion for garment technology
* Team spirit and a positive attitude
* Confidence in communicating, in order to maintain a strong working relationship with all departments and suppliers
* Strong MS Office Excel skills
* Attention to detail
