The Georgia State University Honors College is currently recruiting for an Admissions Counselor III. This position will work within a team of Honors College staff and report to the Honors College Director of Admissions and Recruitment. The counselor will focus on recruiting and enrolling high-ability students at both the Atlanta and Perimeter campuses.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and implement recruitment and yield events, gather data, and assist with communication to high-ability students.
* Counsel applicants regarding admission requirements, procedures, and scholarships.
* Plan and assess information sessions and student visits/events.
* Assist in creating and updating marketing materials and communications.
* Coordinate with admissions offices for training and support.
* Analyze prospective student data, identify trends, and present findings.
* Represent the Honors College at recruitment events regionally.
* Coordinate with Honors College Ambassadors, Scholars, and students for staffing events.
* Mentor student workers involved with admissions.

Qualifications
Minimum: Bachelor's degree and three years of related experience or equivalent education and experience.
Preferred: Experience managing personnel/projects, excellent interpersonal skills, experience with high-ability student recruitment/retention, ability to work independently, and familiarity with Slate CRM and Banner systems.

Salary: $50,000
Pay Grade: 14
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
