As a first point of contact, you will provide a customer focused housing management service within a designated neighbourhood. The work undertaken will meet the aims and objectives of Stockport Homes and achieve our mission to transform lives.
Responsibilities
* Provide a customer focused housing management service within a designated neighbourhood as the first point of contact.
* Enforce tenancy conditions and challenge behaviours using the tools and powers available, with confidence and professionalism.
* Demonstrate excellent organisational and problem solving skills, resilience, and the ability to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision.
* Work with partners and colleagues to jointly tackle issues, maintaining excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
* Utilise a wide range of IT packages to manage tenancy details and casework; manage different workloads and problems.
* Possess an interest in Housing law relating to the management of Social Housing.
* Be capable of working positively and enthusiastically in sometimes challenging circumstances, with good customer care skills.
* Hold a valid current driving licence with access to a car (essential for the role).
Qualifications and requirements
* Experience in housing management or a related field is preferred.
* Strong problem solving and organisational abilities; able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
* Good IT skills and experience using tenancy management systems.
* Interest in Housing law relating to Social Housing.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with tenants, partners, and colleagues.
* Resilience and the ability to operate in sometimes challenging circumstances.
* Driving licence and access to a car are essential.
