IT Support Technician (1st & 2nd Line) Location: Newton Abbot Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 Health and Wellbeing Support | Staff Events | Pension The Role Were looking for an IT Support Technician to provide 1st and 2nd line support to internal staff across hardware, software and business systems. This is a varied role where youll support day-to-day IT operations, troubleshoot user issues, build and deploy devices, and assist with maintaining the organisations infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support for hardware, software and peripherals Manage helpdesk tickets and resolve user issues both remotely and on-site Support joiners and leavers, including issuing and collecting IT equipment Build and deploy Windows, Apple and mobile devices Assist with administration of Active Directory, servers and network infrastructure Perform system monitoring and maintenance Contribute to improvements in systems, processes and IT infrastructure Support IT projects and cloud technology deployments Essential Skills & Experience Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 Experience supporting desktop/laptop hardware Good understanding of Active Directory, TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP Microsoft certification or 2 years relevant IT support experience Strong troubleshooting, communication and organisational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Desirable Experience with Azure, Intune or Autopilot IT related BTEC/NVQ or similar qualification Full driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally
