Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will support the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality education and ensuring a positive learning experience for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the classroom teacher with lesson planning and preparation
* Support individual students and small groups with their learning activities
* Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
* Provide additional support to students with special educational needs
* Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
* Participate in school events and activities
* Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff members
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in working with children
* Basic understanding of the national curriculum
* Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare is a plus
