Legal Technologist – Scotland/Flexible (Assignment 17643)
This leading Scottish law firm is currently recruiting for a qualified lawyer to join its Commercial team as a Legal Technologist. You will play a pivotal role in transforming legal service delivery, embedding legal technology, automation, and AI innovation across the firm’s commercial practice.
The successful candidate will collaborate with lawyers, clients, and the firm’s Chief Transformation Officer to identify and implement digital solutions that improve client experiences and internal efficiencies. Key responsibilities include leading legal tech projects from concept to delivery, piloting and refining AI tools, developing no-code or low-code workflows, and engaging directly with clients to co-create tech-enabled legal solutions. There is also the opportunity to contribute to Ignite Lab, Thorntons’ innovation initiative in partnership with the legal tech sector and local universities.
Applicants must be qualified in Scotland or England & Wales, with corporate or commercial experience, and demonstrate a clear passion for innovation in legal practice. Experience with legal tech tools, no-code platforms, automation, and data analysis (e.g., Power BI or SQL) is desirable. Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills are essential.

Corporate M&A – Jersey (Assignment 17668)
A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a leading offshore law firm, which is seeking a Newly Qualified Associate to join its dynamic Corporate M&A team based in Jersey. The firm advises across multiple jurisdictions and practice areas, including corporate, finance, funds, private wealth, and dispute resolution. It supports a diverse international client base by delivering technically excellent, commercially focused advice on complex cross-border matters.
The successful candidate will be commercially minded, personable, and eager to work on a broad range of corporate matters within a supportive and collaborative team. Strong academic credentials and high-quality training are essential, and recent experience in a corporate or M&A seat during training will be advantageous.
Real Estate – Aberdeen (Assignment 17639)
We have been instructed on a new property role with our client, a leading UK Law Firm in Aberdeen. The firm is seeking a Lawyer to join its busy Real Estate Team, offering exposure to a wide range of commercial property matters including acquisitions and disposals, development projects, real estate finance, and landlord and tenant work.
You will work closely with colleagues and clients, delivering high-quality advice while developing expertise across the full spectrum of real estate transactions. The role also includes contributing to business development, building client relationships, and engaging with wider firm initiatives.
This position is suitable for candidates at NQ–2 years’ PQE. While previous experience in property law is preferred, ambitious NQs looking to develop their career in this area are encouraged to apply.
Conveyancing – Paisley (Assignment 17446)
This long-standing legal practice currently seeking a Conveyancing Solicitor to join its busy team in Paisley.
The ideal candidate will be newly qualified up to five years’ PQE and will have a solid background in residential conveyancing. Any additional experience in commercial conveyancing would be advantageous. A working knowledge of private client matters, such as drafting wills and powers of attorney, is also expected.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own caseload, supported by a dedicated administrative team. Strong time-management and organisational skills are essential.

Litigation – Ayr (Assignment 17157)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and motivated Litigation Solicitor to join a well-established and successful Scottish law firm in Ayrshire. The team provides expert advice across a range of litigation, including commercial and property disputes, debt recovery, and arbitration.
You will be responsible for advising clients on these disputes, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in court and at hearings. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with senior team members.
This role is suitable for solicitors who are newly qualified to 5 years’ PQE, with a passion for litigation. You will manage a diverse caseload of civil and commercial litigation cases, providing high-quality legal services to a varied client base.

Construction, Dispute Resolution – Glasgow (Assignment 17585)
This leading Scottish law firm is seeking a talented Solicitor to join its Construction Dispute Resolution Team in Glasgow. You will manage a varied caseload for private and public sector clients, including adjudications, court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations. The role includes advising on standard form contracts (SBCC, NEC), representing clients in contentious matters, and liaising with counsel and expert witnesses.
Candidates should be Scottish-qualified, NQ–3 years’ PQE, with experience in construction litigation or commercial disputes and a genuine interest in the construction sector. Strong communication skills, proactivity, and the ability to manage a busy workload are essential.

Our client, a well-established Law Firm based in central Glasgow, is seeking a Junior Private Client Lawyer to join its reputable team. The firm provides tailored legal services to private individuals and businesses across Scotland, covering areas such as wills, executries, residential property transactions, personal injury, and business law.
The private client department, led by a Partner, offers comprehensive services including wills, trusts, executries, powers of attorney, guardianships, and tax planning. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload while also supporting Partners with more complex matters, delivering bespoke advice and maintaining strong client relationships.
