🔧 The Role
As Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of multiple construction projects from inception through to completion, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and aligned with technical and regulatory standards.
You’ll work closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to drive performance, manage risk, and maximise value across the project lifecycle.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate multiple construction projects simultaneously
* Lead project delivery from tender handover through to completion
* Develop and maintain detailed construction programmes with planning teams
* Oversee budgets, change control, and commercial performance
* Build strong relationships with clients and supply chain partners
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal standards
* Support estimating and procurement activities, including subcontractor selection
💡 What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience delivering water/wastewater treatment projects
* Minimum 7+ years’ experience in design & build project delivery
* Background working with contractors or water utility companies
* Strong knowledge of AMP frameworks and UK water industry standards
* Confident managing multiple projects and stakeholders
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
🎓 Qualifications
Essential:
* Degree in Construction Management or Engineering
* Experience with Tier 1 contractors
* NEC3 / NEC4 contract knowledge
* SMSTS & CSCS
