A fast-growing construction business specialising in commercial interior fit-out is looking to bring in a Finance Assistant to support its expanding finance team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with solid Purchase Ledger experience who wants to be part of a business that’s scaling quickly and offers real exposure across both purchase and sales ledger functions.
The Role
You’ll be supporting the day-to-day running of the finance function, with responsibilities including:
* Processing and loading supplier invoices
* Managing invoice approvals internally
* Assisting with monthly payment runs
* Updating and maintaining the cashbook
* Handling supplier queries and general finance enquiries
* Supporting commission statement preparation
* Raising and loading sales invoices
* Assisting with debt collection
* Supporting the sales statement process
What We’re Looking For
* Previous Purchase Ledger experience is essential
* Experience using Sage
* AAT Level 3 (or equivalent) preferred
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Organised, proactive, and able to manage workload effectively
* Confident personality who can build relationships internally and externally
