Description Marie Curie is dedicated to providing a welcoming environment for our patients and their families. We are looking for Volunteer Greeters to welcome patients and visitors when they arrive at the hospice, helping to create an enjoyable, positive atmosphere for everyone. Your role will include some of, but is not restricted to, the following tasks: Provide a warm and caring welcome to all patients and visitors, putting them at ease Escorting them to different areas of the hospice Help communication between families and staff, answering queries if appropriate Pass on complicated queries to staff and give feedback where necessary Arrange drinks, food and transport home for patients, if required Help the reception team during busy times Help with other related tasks when necessary What skills or experience do you need?
