You will be a key partner on our flagship IT Services account working as a Finance Business Partner, demonstrating financial control, identifying opportunities to drive profitability, and working with a variety of business partners across the organization.

As a Finance Business Partner, you will need strong analytical skills together with the ability to communicate across business functions at senior levels within your area. You will demonstrate your skills across commercial, sales, operations and delivery, displaying confidence and gravitas to support and challenge at all levels throughout the organisation.

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your role

• Support our Lead Finance Business Partners with monthly reporting cycles, including monthly actuals, rolling forecast and budget setting, financial performance analysis, and balance sheet control.
• Interpret financial variances and assess operational risks & opportunities to make recommendations to drive performance.
• Understand complex and evolving client contracts and their financial and commercial implications, including revenue and cost recognition principles.
• Work closely will delivery partners, supporting and challenging them where necessary.
• Present the financial position at monthly reviews to senior business leaders.
• Design, implement and produce ad hoc reports and analysis to support the business to enable decision-making.


Your skills and experience


• You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
• Experience of working closely with the business and operations in a business partnering capacity.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and explain financial information.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong balance sheet control.
• Ability to prioritise workloads in a pressured environment and manage multiple tasks to strict deadliness.
• Strong technical skills including Microsoft Excel would be advantageous.


Your security clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks.
There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required.
There are other criteria and check required for BPSS, and throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
