Support Workers – CYP (Children & Young People)

Velox Social Care is currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred care for Children and Young People (CYP) requiring structured support.

The Role
As a CYP Support Worker, you will:

Provide structured, therapeutic support to children and young people
*
Encourage positive development through patience, understanding, and consistency
*
Maintain accurate daily records and reports
*
Work collaboratively with colleagues, our Care Management Team, and external agencies
*
Promote a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment
We offer flexible shift patterns, including days, nights, and block bookings. Due to the needs of our clients, flexibility to cover both short and long shifts is essential.
Essential Requirements
To be considered, you must have:

The Right to Work in the UK
*
Minimum 6 months’ UK experience in a similar CYP setting
*
Three references (2 professional, 1 character)
*
In-date PMVA or Team Teach certificate
(PMVA-trained applicants must be willing to complete Team Teach training)
*
Enhanced Child DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
*
Relevant qualifications (Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care preferred)
