- Up to £16.42 per hour, base salary of £13.50 per hour plus estimated tronc of £2.92
As a Commis Chef at Artfarm you will be working alongside our band of chefs, learning as you go and taking care of the duties assigned to you. You will be preparing high-quality food for the restaurant, outside catering and events. You’ll work alongside the Head Chef to create, develop and maintain a fantastic range of dishes that celebrate the produce of our very own farm and the incredible local produce we use.
You’ll be surrounded by a team with a creative flair and a passion for fresh food and brilliant service with a desire to learn and grow. All striving to go beyond for guests, our team and the community.

About Mount St Restaurant
Situated in the elegant Victorian building on the corner of Mayfair’s Mount Street and South Audley Street, The Audley offers guests three distinct experiences: The Audley Public House, a traditional London pub on street level, Mount St. Restaurant, a modern London restaurant on the first floor; and three floors housing four beautifully designed spaces, each with its own story and available for private hire.
Mount St. Restaurant is led by Executive Head Chef Jamie Shears (formerly of 45 Jermyn St. and The CUT at 45 Park Lane), who brings a creative approach to a menu inspired by the culinary traditions of London. Working with trusted farmers, growers and foragers – including from our own Somerset farm – we focus on fresh, seasonal produce and a commitment to sustainability.
Food is also prepared for The Audley Public House – a place for a pint and a pie, classic bar snacks, draught beers, and a proper Sunday roast. Our menu is simple, seasonal, and proudly British, using top-quality ingredients including beef and lamb from our Somerset farm.
Art is at the heart of Mount St. Restaurant, with over 200 pieces of art featuring throughout the dining space and rooms – including works by Andy Warhol, Henri Matisse, Lucian Freud, Philip Guston, Peter Fischli and David Weiss, as well as site-specific commissions by Hauser & Wirth artists.
