The successful candidate will ensure that the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation are maintained throughout the property, delivering a flawless guest experience in line with luxury hospitality standards. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver a structured training programme for the Housekeeping team Lead departmental inductions for new starters and deliver personalised onboarding Create and manage rotas for all team members, ensuring staffing levels remain within budget Monitor and analyse daily labour forecasts to optimise operational efficiency Supervise and support the team to deliver consistent, high-quality room standards Ensure timely turnaround of rooms and public areas to maximise service delivery Oversee stock control and maintain accurate records for linen and guest amenities Manage lost property processes and ensure compliance with retention and disposal policies Maintain all departmental equipment, reporting faults and arranging repairs as needed Promote health and safety awareness, ensuring all hazards and issues are reported promptly Ensure COSHH documentation is current and staff have acknowledged their understanding Respond promptly to requests from management and Heads of Department Skills & Experience Required Proven experience in managing a large team within a high-end hotel environment Previous experience as a Head Housekeeper in a five-star property is desirable A proactive and hands-on approach, with a continuous improvement mindset Strong motivation to deliver excellence for guests and colleagues alike Familiarity with Forbes and LQA service standards is advantageous Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic team setting Various shift patterns and working hours are available.
