Due to unprecedented demand, Hays is looking to increase our number of supply teaching assistants to work on a supply and ad-hoc basis in our partnership schools in the Warrington area.
Your new role
At Hays, you will be joining a large supportive team of like-minded professionals with the added benefit of being able to pick your own availability and work in one of a number of schools of your choosing. Your duties will typically include:
1. Working with a classroom between EYFS - KS2
2. Following the instruction of the class teacher
3. Offering intervention and booster sessions in core subjects including Maths and English
4. Phonics sessions and assessments on a 1:1 and small group basis
5. Implementing positive behaviour strategies including Brain Breaks, DOJO and positive reinforcement
6. Promoting inclusion and accessibility within the classroom
7. Break and lunchtime responsibilities
8. General classroom management
9. General behaviour management
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered in your application you must have full "Right to Work" as well as:
10. Referenceable experience supporting children and young people
11. Experience delivering intervention and booster sessions
