The Role:
As General Manager, you'll oversee and develop all aspects of the restaurant's operations. You'll work closely with our front of house managers, kitchen team, and senior leadership to deliver an outstanding guest experience while achieving financial and operational targets. This is a hands-on role that requires exceptional leadership, commercial acumen, and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support FOH managers and the kitchen team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
* Deliver on financial, operational, and service targets set by the senior leaders.
* Drive and implement training, service standards, and upselling initiatives across the team.
* Collaborate with the BALTIC to maintain a productive and mutually beneficial partnership.
* Oversee HR functions including recruitment, training, and team development (in partnership with HR).
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, and Licensing.
* Work with marketing to devise and deliver campaigns that increase revenue and enhance customer experience.
* Maintain excellent communication across all departments, ensuring cohesion and alignment with company values.
* Ensure consistently high levels of guest satisfaction (above 85% on all feedback reports).
* About You:
* Experienced hospitality leader, ideally as a General Manager or in a senior operational role.
* Strong people-management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
* Commercially driven, confident in managing budgets, cost control, and financial performance.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
* Passionate about food, drink, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
* A hands-on leader who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Pay: £38,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
