Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) Salary: £55,000 - £58,000 Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off Days & Nights (12-hour shifts) Location: Kent CV Technical are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and growing manufacturer where you'll play a key role in maintaining site equipment, minimising downtime, and driving continuous improvement across the facility. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on a wide range of production machinery Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults efficiently Support continuous improvement activities to improve reliability and reduce downtime Work closely with production teams to plan maintenance activities and minimise disruption Maintain accurate maintenance records using a CMMS system Assist with equipment installations, upgrades and commissioning projects Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with company procedures Manage and monitor critical spare parts stock levels Support root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions Requirements Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment Electrical qualification such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC, ONC, 18th Edition or equivalent Strong electrical fault-finding skills with good mechanical knowledge Experience working with PLC fault finding and diagnostics Previous experience using CMMS systems Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across departments Proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement and reliability What's on Offer? 4 on 4 off shift pattern providing excellent work-life balance Company pension scheme Additional holiday awarded for long service Private GP service Employee Assistance Programme Ongoing training and development opportunities Study support and sponsorship opportunities Free onsite parking Employee discount scheme Eyecare vouchers Company accommodation support where required This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrically biased engineer looking to join a stable and forward-thinking manufacturing business where your contribution will be recognised and rewarded.
