Job Description:
Due to a number of new business wins, my client, an award-winning pension consultancy, is seeking a talented Senior Administrator to join their friendly, award-winning, Defined Benefit team.
The role involves prioritising the daily workload of the team and assisting the Administration Manager to ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities include:
* Providing effective pension administration services to all clients
* Completing client work within SLAs and deadlines
* Handling complex pension tasks such as calculations and scheme projects
* Acting as a point of contact for a portfolio of clients, trustees, and senior scheme members
* Participating in annual projects like renewals, benefit statements, and pension increases
* Offering advice and guidance to less experienced colleagues
* Contributing to process and procedural improvements
Applicants should have good knowledge of Defined Benefit (DB) pension schemes and be capable of performing complex calculations related to leavers, retirements, deaths, and transfers. Typically, candidates will have around 3+ years of technical experience from a third-party or in-house background, along with strong numeracy, communication, and organizational skills.
