Our Client, Trafford Council, is seeking an Adults Social Worker to join their Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
* The role will entail working with individuals, families, carers, and communities to enable them to make informed decisions, to promote independence, whilst working in a strengths-based approach.
* Undertaking preventative work and risk assessments utilising community resources and services such as reablement and telehealth care is also a key part of the role.
* You will construct value-for-money care packages, and commission and arrange appropriate services.
* You will be responsible for the completion of Care Act assessments, capacity assessments and Court work - section 21a challenges.
Requirements of this role:
* Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
* Must have a Social Work qualification (Diploma in social work, social work degree or equivalent)
* Must have minimum of 3 years experience post qualifying working as a Qualified social worker
