Our Horticulture Experts play an essential role in delivering customer experience across our stores - driving sales, promoting customer loyalty, providing excellent plant advice, and maintaining department standards, whilst working alongside the Horticulture Manager.
Responsibilities
1. Supporting and coaching other members of staff and deputising for management in their absence.
2. Demonstrating effective leadership by working alongside the horticulture team to create a positive working environment.
3. Providing excellent customer service by assisting customers with various transactions across the store.
4. Driving sales through customer interactions, while promoting the benefits of the Dobbies Club membership.
5. Offering support with customer queries through high-quality product knowledge, including indoor and outdoor plants, machinery, and core gardening.
6. Working with your team to ensure the department is maintained to a high standard.
7. Some key holder responsibilities may be required.
