Job Description
This is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and delivering global data strategy, enterprise data architecture, and modern data platforms.The role will act as the global technical authority for data, shaping data models, data governance, data engineering standards, and cloud data platform strategy.Key Responsibilities
3. Define and lead enterprise data strategy and data roadmap
4. Develop and implement global data architecture and data models
5. Design cloud data platforms supporting high-volume and real-time data ingestion (ETL, ELT, APIs, event-driven architecture)
6. Establish data governance, data standards, and best practices across regions
7. Drive adoption of modern data platforms, data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics solutions
8. Enable AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics use cases through strong data foundations
9. Act as a senior stakeholder advisor, influencing data strategy across business units and regions
10. Lead and develop a high-performing global data team
11. Promote data-driven culture and data maturity across the organisation
The Successful Applicant
A successful Global Head of Data should have:
12. Proven experience as CDO, Head of Data, Director of Data, or Enterprise Data Architect in a global environment
13. Strong track record delivering data strategy, data architecture, and data platform transformation
14. Deep expertise in Microsoft cloud data platforms and MS Fabric
15. Experience building data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time data pipelines
16. Strong understanding of data governance, data modelling, and data engineering best practices
17. Experience working in multi-region or decentralised organisations
18. Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive adoption

19. Competitive remuneration package ranging from £150,000 to £200,000 (Dependent on experience)
