About The Role
We are seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst to join our Reporting team based at our Central Support office in Uxbridge. The FP&A analyst will support the business in key decision making by providing timely, accurate and insightful reports and analysis. They will be developing and building on the company’s financial reporting capabilities. By gaining a good overall understanding of the financials of the business, the FP&A analyst will be empowered to provide impactful commercial insights, and will play a pivotal role in the finance team. You will be reporting to the Group Financial Controller.
Key Responsibilities:
· Production of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Management Information reporting including P&L and Balance Sheets
· Responsible for producing headline information sent to external stakeholders
· Contributing to business plans and forecasting, crucial for investment decisions
· Assist in annual Year-End Accounts processes
· Assist in developing cash flow reporting information and working alongside departments to manage payment and collection processes
· Assist in developing and maintaining budgets/forecasts for monthly, quarterly and annual periods in relation to the P&L, cash flow and capex
· Contributing to the improvement of financial reporting systems and processes
· Working closely with the IT department to implement finance system solutions
· Assists in developing and tracking of financial performance measures and quality KPIs
· Producing ad-hoc reports to communicate financial performance to management
· Undertaking various other duties within the finance department as required
Essential Skills
· Newly Qualified or working towards getting recognised accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
· Experience of using Netsuite.
· Excellent analytical and communication skills.
· Flexible approach to tasks and teamwork.
· Ability to work to tight deadlines, prioritise work-load and deliver high quality and timely information.
· Trustworthy and maintains a high level of confidentiality.
Desirable Skills
· Advanced Excel.
· Qualified in a recognised accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
· Use of database and data analytic tools such as SQL and Power-Bi.
· Experience working in healthcare or social care.
Package
· Full time – 40 hours a week
· Salary – £36,000 to £38,000 per annum
· Hybrid Working – 1 day per week working from home (post probation)
