Birmingham City Football Club is looking for an organised and enthusiastic Academy Matchday Co-ordinator to join our Operations & Administration Department. You'll play a key part in delivering a smooth matchday experience for Academy fixtures (U7–U21) and help us maintain an elite environment for the development of young players.
Please note, this role is on a casual basis.
Key Responsibilities:
· Act as the main point of contact on matchdays for visiting guests, staff, players, and parents.
· Coordinate all operational aspects of Academy fixtures at the Knighthead Performance Centre (mainly weekends, occasionally midweek).
· Set up and prepare changing rooms and matchday logistics.
· Greet and liaise with match officials, visiting teams, scouts, and spectators.
· Manage parking, seating, and steward coordination to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
· Display and update all matchday information boards and pitch allocations.
· Monitor adherence to player and parent codes of conduct.
· Support administrative and operational tasks for U18 and U21 fixtures, including printing and distributing team sheets.
· Promote the Academy's culture and values, ensuring safeguarding and health & safety compliance at all times.
· Undertake any additional duties as requested by the Head of Academy Operations & Administration or Lead Academy Operations Co-ordinator.
What We're Looking For?
· Experience in coordinating events or sports fixtures.
· Experience working within operations.
· Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
