Location: Sacred Heart Primary School, Peterborough
Salary: Points 12-17 of the Support Staff Scale Point £28,598 - £31,022 FTE per annum £10,930 - £12,066 pro rata per annum

THE ROLE
We are looking for a hard-working and enthusiastic person with high standards and the ability to communicate and interact effectively with others as part of our school as a Pupil and Parent Support Advisor.
The successful candidate will support pupils and their families in overcoming barriers to learning, with a particular focus on improving attendance, engagement, and wellbeing. The role includes providing administrative and operational support to the SENDCo, delivering targeted 1–1 interventions, and working closely with families where pupils are persistently absent.
General Responsibilities
The Pupil and Parent Support Advisor is responsible under the instruction and guidance of Senior Staff and the SENDCo to undertake a range of pastoral and administrative duties to support pupils and their families.
Specific Responsibilities
A non-exhaustive list of specific responsibilities for the role is below and you will be required to undertake other duties and responsibilities as may reasonably be required.
Support for SENDCo
* Provide administrative support to the SENDCo, including maintaining accurate records, updating provision maps, and organising documentation related to SEND pupils.
* Assist in the preparation and coordination of EHCP reviews, annual reviews, and SEND meetings.
* Attend SEND meetings where appropriate, recording accurate notes and actions.
* Support communication between school, families, and external agencies.
* Ensure all SEND-related paperwork remains compliant and up to date.
